  SPECIFICS:

This replica V-Twin Springer front end comes complete and includes upper and lower brass Zerk grease fittings, copper top tree clamp, copper retaining nut, copper top crown nut and a 3/4" front axle kit. Axle kit includes (2) copper acorn style end nuts, wheel spacers that can be cut to required length and various washers and shims

This length is considered 18" which is measured from the center of axle to bottom of lower tree where tree or 21" if you measure to the bearing. Some call it a 28" springer which is measuring overall length from the axle to the top of the springs. Its actually closer to 31". We consider this -4 under stock length, however an FLST, for example, this front end is a -2 under stock length.  The front-end works best on a stock rigid frame using a 21" wheel.  We use these front-end on most of our Bobber that we want to sit low/level.
Replica restoration length on an antique Harley EL, FL, FLH, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead models were the same as this front-end measuring 18"/28".  In this instance, it would considered stock length

LENGTH: 18''  (Center of axle to bottom of lower tree or 19" to where tree sits against the bearing)

Approximate total length: 28"-29"

Neck Stem: 1"

Inside width of rockers: Approx. 8-1/4"

Axle Diameter: 3/4" O.D.

*** Tech note: installation on some stock models like dyna, touring, sportster, etc may require frame and/or tank modification as well as replacement of other components.

***Tech note: if using an aftermarket/custom frame with external neck cups you may have to lathe or trim the springer retaining nut down for proper fitment of top tree clamp and crown nut!
