1982 Harley Davidson Shovelhead FXB Sturgis Anniversary Model Survivor One Owner Very Low Miles!
This is a clean survivor with only 9,471 original miles! The original 1340CC engine runs great. She starts up easily & idles nicely. Clean title. Clean Carfax. Previous owner bought this bike in 1985 w/ 4,760 miles. Two owners. Not many survivors around these days this nice.
This is a non-AMF Harley Davidson Sturgis. The Sturgis was first introduced in 1980. In 1982 Harley continued with the model after the management bought out AMF & began production and a new era. The commemorative badge on the front fender celebrates the takeover of AMF by Harley. These bikes had what was then considered a radical approach to the primary & final drive system utilizing an new dual belt system as opposed to the traditional chain system. The 1982 models are very rare & seldom found worldwide. Being one of very few produced and even fewer remaining make this a great investment and a fun ride.
* Please note: I have the stock carb, air cleaner, and stock seat in my collection if you prefer to swap. It runs great with the SS and the seat was a HD accessory seat that's been on the bike since 1982.
