For Dyna
This is a dual function part for those of you that have a late or early Dyna with mid controls. The fully TIG welded assembly takes place of your bolt on highway pegs and serves the function as a standard highway peg would. However, this mount also serves as a crash bar or as some call it, a crash cage. The front crash bar does what it sounds like it should, it protects the front section of the bike in case of a crash or if the bike happens to fall over. The assembly in fact, was designed and built for some local stunt riders to protect their bikes as they were learning new tricks and didn't want to destroy their new Dyna's in the process. The bar features replaceable delrin sliders on the ends to help the bike slide over the pavement as opposed to taking hold of the bike while it is sliding and causing it to high-side. A lot of R and D has gone into the exact placement and length of the bar to ensure enough lean angle so not to impead other types of high speed cornering and still provide the right amount of protection. They are available with your choice of the Standard side plates shown or with our State of California shaped side plates (side plate is the main mounting plate all the parts weld to ). Some models with the Speed Merchant skid plate may require the lengthening of regulator wires. Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

For Sportster
This is a dual function part for those of you that have a rubbermount Harley Sportster (2004 and up) with mid controls. Also available for the 2003 and earlier models but does require welding of the 4 supplied coped bungs to the frame. The fully TIG welded assembly takes place of your bolt on highway pegs and serves the same function as a standard highway peg would. However, this mount also serves as a crash bar or as some call it a crash cage. The front crash bar does what it sounds like it should, it protects the front section of the bike in case of a crash or if the bike happens to fall over. The assembly, in fact was designed and built for some local stunt riders to protect their bikes as they were learning new tricks and didn't want to destroy their new Sporty's in the process. The bar features replaceable delrin sliders on the ends to help the bike slide over the pavement as opposed to taking hold of the bike while it is sliding and causing it to highside. A lot of R&D has gone into the exact placement and length of the bar to ensure enough lean angle so not to impead other types of high speed cornering and still provide the right amount of protection. May not clear some factory pipes. They are available with the California shaped side plates shown or also with a standard rounded side plate. Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery
