Many people make a big mistake buying too large of a starter that can cause to much of a draw on your battery and can become counterproductive. Larger starters also have clearance issues in many bikes. Each starter is bench tested and cranks out 1.6kw max power in a compact stock size starter. Most bench test at 1.525-16KW. These 1.4kw High Torque Starters will out perform any of the 1.5kw to 1.8kw starters used to start high compression/high performance engines.
