We designed these bags specifically to mount on the new 2018+ Softails without relocating the turn signals or license plate. Based on our Retro Series bags, they are slightly smaller, but still expandable to hold more than the bagger fiberglass bags. They are now updated to use our V3 hardware, which makes mounting more user friendly, and incorporates a spring loaded safety latch and integrated lock.

Materials

We are upgrading to 1050 Denier Ballistic Nylon from INVISTA. This is a heavy duty American made fabric with a patented formulation to increase strength, abrasion resistance, and the melting point. Some people might try to tell you that 1680 Denier fabric is stronger, but it is made in China using inferior materials. 1050 Denier Nylon actually weighs 25% more than 1680 Denier Nylon. The backs are molded from impact resistant ABS plastic, which allows the bags to sit much closer to the bike than a flat-backed bag. The lids are made from 2 layers of our thick 10 oz. leather to ensure that they keep their shape.

Easy Mounting

Our patented quick release mounting system is made from 12 gauge powder coated steel. Simple to operate just push down on the carrying handle to mount the bags, and lift up to unlock them and take them off the bike. All parts are laser cut and we used nylon bushings to make mounting smooth and easy. The brackets also include an integrated lock, so not just anyone can take the bags off the bike.

Compatibility

These bags are compatible with Fat Bob, Street Bob, Low Rider, Low Rider S, Standard, and Slim 2018+ Softail models They can be used in conjunction with hard mount sissy bars, or Harley's Holdfast accessories (sold separately, Harley Holdfast docking points must be used to mount Holdfast accesories). Bags are also compatible with most aftermarket exhausts, but additional shielding may be required if hot exhaust gases are blowing directly on the bag. All necessary mounting hardware is included.
