These are not only fun, but great investments. 1987 was the last year before the ATC was outlawed. in the USA 1986 was actually the last year of sales but some were still sold primarily in Canada and Europe.
The Honda ATC 250SX is the "Mullet" of the ATC Family. The 250R was a high performance race model while the Big Red was a work Horse. The SX was a combination of both. It can work hard and play hard.
Overall it’s in good rider condition. Original plastics and seat (plastics are sun faded seat has few rips). Trike starts/idles/runs. Takes a little to warm up with this cold weather. Trike has a bunch of new parts: Front tire, brakes, carb overhauled, front suspension rebuilt, all maintenance items completed. Trike doesn’t really need anything. Have some spare parts to go with.
Have a clean PA title so you have the ability to ride it on State land where a title/reg is required if you choose to. Clear readable vin on frame.
Cons:Dash isn’t the correct SX dash, dent in the metal gas tank (doesn’t leak), both rear tires slowly leak air (have 1 brand new tire to go with it, not installed) Overall it’s a great running machine.
